This patented manufacturing process reduces the amount of energy necessary to manufacture each panel, emitting 33% less greenhouse gas emissions than other crystalline technologies, while creating an energy payback of 18 months. Evergreen goes even further by using lead-free solder for all solar cell interconnections, and uses no cardboard packaging during shipment or storage.
