Grid-tied Inverters


Grid-tied (or on-grid) solar power inverters are an essential part of any solar panel system that connects with the local power grid. These grid-tied inverters convert the DC power output of the solar panels into standard AC power for use in your home or commercial space.

The inverter automatically sends the power generated by the solar panels to where it is needed in your home or office. If you are using less power than the solar panels are producing, then clean, renewable power is sent back into the grid giving you credits to use later. When the solar panels are not making power, then the inverter automatically draws power from the grid.
