Using the proprietary HIT solar cells, the Sanyo HIT line of panels use the traditional crystalline solar cells surrounded by ultra-thin amorphous silicon layers.  This technology allows Sanyo to engineer panels with 16.0% to 17.7% efficiency, giving you the power you need in a smaller space, saving you time and money. And whereas hot climates cause large reductions in power output than most other crystalline panels, Sanyo panels continue to perform well despite soaring temperatures.
