The Sanyo Double Sided Solar Panels combine the high efficiency output of the HIT panels, with a unique bi-facial effect for greater power output and unique design capabilities.  By manufacturing the panels without the opaque backing found on most panels, the Double-sided Sanyo panels allow more ambient sunlight to pass through the back of the panels, creating up to 30% more power output.  These uniquely designed panels can also be attractively installed for a maximum effect in awnings, balconies, canopies, and many other applications that maximize the output of both sides of the panel.
