Iowa-based Solar Company grows by adding Des Moines office

Go Green. After all, it’s good for the environment and the pocketbook. But has the phrase lost its lustre? Perhaps. But that doesn’t change the fact that the adoption of alternative energy sources is now more popular than ever.

Simpleray, a company founded and still remaining headquartered in Fairfield, Iowa, has led the way in installing solar arrays all over the state. Seeing the need in central Iowa, President Tyler Anderson explains why Des Moines is a natural fit for their company’s expansion:

We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new Des Moines office; the key geographic location will truly allow us to better serve our customers. Our entire leadership team was born and raised in Iowa, which makes us all excited to continue expanding and giving back to our great state!

Local leaders understand the impact of having a company like Simpleray as part of the Des Moines community. Tim Leach, Senior Vice President of Downtown Development at the Greater Des Moines Partnership, shares his thoughts:

Simpleray will be a terrific addition to our Downtown Des Moines business community. It is a powerful statement for Downtown to welcome an innovative company that is helping businesses, organizations and individuals make our region and world more sustainable.

Simpleray is a renewable energy company that specializes in solar arrays for businesses, homeowners, farms, electric cooperatives, municipal utilities, and nonprofits. The company was founded in 2008 and currently has offices in Fairfield, Des Moines, and Bloomfield.
