It is not recommended to install solar panels yourself.
While they may seem simple, installing solar yourself can be a complex task. Unless you have construction and/or electrical experience in your background, it is not recommended. The process requires engineering, design, construction, electrical and roofing skills to ensure the solar power system operates safely and is optimally designed for 35+ years of production. For safety reasons, most utility companies also require that a certified electrician install the system.
